A Tiger-Fox leather flight jacket in a sun-faded tobacco brown, built on the classic bomber lines and lined in a printed escape map of northern France and the Low Countries. The leather has softened and mottled beautifully, however it also shows damage from being worn.  Multiple areas of water markings in various areas which are shown in detail in photos.  The price reflects the condition, however AR13L loves a jacket that looks like it been worn for decades.

The story

During World War II, aircrews flying over occupied Europe carried silk escape maps sewn into their kit, in case they were shot down. The printed map lining became a signature detail of the reproduction flight jackets that boomed in the 1980s, when Top Gun and Indiana Jones made the leather bomber the jacket everyone wanted.

One of one. Once it's found a home, it's gone.
