Original late-1990s Benetton Formula 1 Racing Team sweatshirt in classic Benetton green and white.
The sweatshirt features a white body with contrasting green sleeves and ribbed green collar, cuffs and waistband. The front carries the period Benetton Formula 1 Racing Team wordmark, while the back is finished with a large green UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON graphic.
Inside is the original woven Benetton Formula 1 Racing Team – Trade Mark label featuring the team’s distinctive four-color brushstroke identity and size L designation.
This particular Benetton Formula 1 branding was introduced in the late 1990s, with Benetton Group registering the Benetton Formula 1 Racing Team mark beginning in 1996–97. The result is a great crossover between Benetton’s Formula 1 history and the graphic sportswear aesthetic of United Colors of Benetton during the period.
