The Pink Palace has held court on Sunset Boulevard since 1912: the Polo Lounge, the banana-leaf wallpaper, long afternoons in the cabanas by the pool. It is old Hollywood at its most relaxed, and still the most famous hotel in Los Angeles.
The hotel's green script runs across the chest, in the same hand-lettered style as the sign out front.
